Fiction Weekly is based on the belief that great stories should be readily accessible, and this website is designed to offer one new and noteworthy story per week.

The editors of Fiction Weekly believe that stories should be judged by their ability to move readers, nothing more and nothing less. As such, we welcome submissions from any and all writers, and we give each submission the attention it deserves.

At the present time, our editorial board consists of  a high school dropout, a Princeton Ph.D., an MA, and a couple of MFAs. All told, we have someone who considers him or herself an expert on almost every type of fiction, from Dostoevsky to D.C. Comics, Ellison to Eggers, Fante to Foer, Gogol to Gibson, Hamsun to Hammett... you get the idea.  We appreciate stories steeped in literary tradition and admire stories that experiment and point toward the future of fiction. We are dedicated to finding and sharing works that engage, entertain, and inspire.
